The first half of 2017 has been a very busy start for me. Working in a training role for the first time has also been a big learning experience. The support from everyone at Progressive Training has been welcome considering this is my first job as a trainer and assessor, lots to learn.
Training in Cert III Glass and Glazing is progressing well, I am getting great feedback from employers and their apprentices. Employers are happy that we are providing regular training and are seeing improvements in their skills.

Highlights so far.
- I have now gained the Master Glazier Accreditation through the Australian Glass and Glazing Association.
- Nomination for the GWAWA Tradesperson of the year award, there were only two nominations for this award but unfortunately the award went to the other candidate.
- Congratulations to Brody Brickley from Mandurah Glass who won the GWAWA Apprentice of the Year Award, he is now in the running for the AGGA national award.
