On Friday 7th April 2017, Geoff Feddersen on behalf of the Department of Training and Workforce Development, facilitated a workshop for GTO's at Prospect Place West Perth in relation to the new National Standards for Group Training Organisations (2016).
The purpose of the workshop was to present and identify issues that GTO's may need to address in preparation for the proposed implementation date of the new standards from 1 July 2017.
The workshop was well attended and interactive, as the initial findings from the mapping of the old standards to the new standards and examples of evidence from the new evidence guide were outlined and explored.
