Merry Christmas and a happy and safe festive season to everyone. What a busy year it has been. Where did the year go?
Is this a question you have also asked yourself?

As I review the events of 'the year that was', I have to admit that I am astounded by the scope of works we, at Progressive Training, have been fortunate enough to be involved in. From the successful implementation of traineeships through to the 2nd Party System Health Check we had in November.

Everything that has occurred throughout the year has certainly aided in our process of continual improvement and growth in a environment that has been quite testing for all RTO's in general across the country.

Validations have played a large part of this year's work schedule, and as I am new to this role this year, it has been a great way to meet some fabulous people and visit some wonderful places spread across this great land called Western Australia. I believe most of our consultants would also agree with what I have just mentioned, although, I think they would also agree sitting around waiting in airports is certainly not one of our favourite pastimes!

Some big changes are afoot in the coming months, a couple of these I'd like to mention are the training package changes to Resource and Infrastructure and also Glass and Glazing. Some big tasks lay ahead of us to ensure the transitions to the new packages run smoothly and as painlessly as possible.

Whatever your plans are for this festive season, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous 2014.
