The courses identified below include key safety messages from the Rio Tinto senior leadership team, and highlights the importance of health, safety and environment and what needs to be done to achieve Rio Tinto’s goal of Zero Harm.

Available courses:

Perth Regional Hub Rio Tinto Essentials (face to face) – 2 hours (Required for FTE and Cat 1 Contractors)
Geraldton: $88.00 (incl. GST)
Carnarvon: $92.40 (incl. GST)

Perth Regional Hub Rio Tinto Essentials for Site (face to face) – 4 hours (Required for FTE, Cat 1, and Cat 3 Contractors)
Geraldton: $198.00 (incl. GST)
Carnarvon: $220.00 (incl. GST)

Isolations Theory Training (face to face) – 2.5 hours
Geraldton: $192.50 (incl. GST)
Carnarvon: $203.50 (incl. GST)

Pre-requisites:
Participants are required to have sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to read and comprehend instruction. Special language, literacy and numeracy requirements should be advised at the time of booking. 
There is also a pre-requisite for anyone wishing to complete either the PRH Essentials for Site and/or Isolations Theory Training to have first completed the Perth Regional Hub Essentials Course. This is available online or may be delivered by Progressive Training as a face-to-face session, upon request.

Bookings:
We are not able to accept private bookings for Rio Tinto courses. Bookings for these courses should be made by your employer.

Additional information:
  • Participants must bring identification (Current Photo I.D. such as Drivers Licence/HRWL/Passport)
  • Minimum dress standard – neat casual, enclosed footwear and no singlets
  • All course participants will be required to sign an attendance sheet on the day for the purpose of card issuance at completion of the course(s)

Intended for
The PRHE and PRHEFS applies to all contractors entering a Rio Tinto Perth Regional Hub site, except visitors. If in doubt, contact your Rio Tinto company representative.
PRHE, PRHEFS and Isolations courses are offered in Geraldton and Carnarvon.
Certification
On successful completion of the course participants will receive a Rio Tinto Perth Regional Hub Essentials For Site - card.
