The recent site visit was our first opportunity to catch up with a number of the trainees and site trainers at the mine site to check how the program is going.
Meetings were set up with a number of the trainees, site trainer/assessors and the relevant superintendents.
Feedback received about the program was extremely positive and was reflected in the comments by everyone we spoke to. It became evident that everyone across the board understood the process.
This program took a while to get off the ground and a lot of planning and communication took place between the client and Progressive Training in setting up the required systems and documentation. It can be seen that the time was spent wisely through the comments expressed by all parties on the day.
The next group of trainees have started their traineeship and are about to go to another mine site operation. This brings on the second site involved in the program. In the end there will be six sites involved in the program.
Even at this early stage it can be seen that this auspicing arrangement between the client, other RTO's and Progressive Training is working well.
We look forward to expanding the program at the other client sites and meeting with other trainees, trainers/assessors and relevant site personnel.
