… To say 2017 has started off with a bang for Progressive Training, would be a huge understatement and the momentum this year is quickly picking up speed in the best way possible. First on the agenda, are the changes to our staff.
2017 will see Progressive Training spreading its branches further into Glass and Glazing, having been confirmed as a preferred provider in December 2016 and having the full support of AGGA. Andrew McGhie has really hit the ground running in the Perth Metro, Peel and Southwest areas of WA and with 17 businesses (to date) now having their apprentices on board with Progressive Training, it is shaping up to be a very busy year ahead.
Closer to home in the Geraldton area, we have seen a marked increase in the numbers requesting short courses. The 4WD course run by Graem Watts and the 5 day Worksafe approved Health and Safety Representative Course run by Bill Belson are proving to be high on the priority / interest list as we have seen several run this year already. There has also been some interest generated in the Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (which I am looking forward to as I will get to change back into my trainers’ hat).
All-in-all, with the initial interest we’ve seen and the scope of work on the horizon, 2017 is looking to be a very Progressive Year. I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to move into the CEO role and will be doing everything in my power to ensure that our staff and clients alike have a continuation of the support and professionalism that has always been on offer from senior management and Directors here at Progressive Training. I look forward to updating you all as we move through the year.
