Scott Rubery recently joined the Progressive Training team in the newly created role of Training Resources Development and RTO Scope Officer after previously working in the RTO industry with other providers in management, compliance and training roles.

Scott has a diverse background and has gained wide and extensive experience in both work and life. This experience has seen him live and work in different states around the country, including his home town of Geraldton as well as Perth, Gold Coast, Cairns and Melbourne, which has helped shape his work and personal life.

Along with his management and training background, Scott brings to the Progressive team a wealth of experience from his previous roles in regards to RTO compliance and resource development.  Scott’s experience and his team focus are key ingredients that will contribute greatly to Progressive Training’s established reputation as an industry leader.

Scott holds an impressive range of qualifications including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Management, Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, Certificate III Civil Construction, as well as Work Safe licenses and this adds to Progressive’s diverse team approach.

Additionally, Scott has a keen interest in sport, especially basketball and is currently the Head Coach of the WA Country U16 Men’s Team.  In April he will take the team to Adelaide to compete at the 2016 Australian National Junior Championships.  We wish the team well and hope they can bring back the flag!
