Hi, I am Ellen Evers, I moved to Western Australia 2 years ago from the sunny state of North QLD. My partner and I did the long drive over with our two dogs. It was an excellent experience and an eye opener of how open and vast our amazing country really is. I could not believe my eyes when we drove into Geraldton and saw the beaches! They are gorgeous and I was not used to being able to swim so regularly in the summer at any beach in town without the risk of being stung by jelly fish!
I love my sport, which was one of the first things I looked into when moving over. I joined the La Fiamma Scorchers soccer team and have meet lifelong friends within the two years I have played. I also joined the Lightning Netball team which also has a beautiful bunch of ladies! In the off season of my two main sports I enjoy play basketball for Railways and Touch Football with a bunch of mates on Wednesday nights.
I had 7 years administration experience before I moved over to beautiful Western Australia. Once we moved I acquired a job at Woolworths. I began there as a check out operator and made my way to a supervisor role and eventually moved to inventory/mark downs, which was an eye opener in what goes on behind the scenes in a large company. Four months ago I was fortunate enough to be offered the Client Services Officer position within Progressive Training where I will be completing my Certificate III in Business. My main responsibilities as Client Services Officer include organising course materials for upcoming courses, liaising with clients, managing our student database and records. I am the friendly voice on the phone when you ring Progressive Training!
I look forward to my future with Progressive Training and I hope to speak to you all at some point of time and I will give it my best to serve you to the best of my ability with whatever your enquiry!
